Opened almost 200 years ago, the Birmingham Botanical Gardens are situated in the Edgbaston area of Birmingham. Attractions at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens include large glasshouses full of tropical plants, a large collection of cacti and succulents, ponds, water features, flower borders, lawns, aviaries, rock gardens, the National Bonsai Collection, a plant nursery, a restaurant and a gift shop.
